This year’s CRAFTED: Show + Sale not only showcases artists from Manitoba and the North, but also features our second philanthropic cookbook supporting a worthy cause. Down to Earth: Homemade Soups in Handmade Vessels Volume 2, is a cookbook pairing over 20 ceramic artists and 20 chefs. Proceeds from cookbook sales will be donated equally between Winnipeg Harvest and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
Winnipeg Harvest is a not-for-profit, community-based organization. They collect and share surplus food with people who are hungry and offer training opportunities to help people step up and out of poverty.
CRAFTED and the Winnipeg Art Gallery are proud to support Winnipeg Harvest as this year’s heart of craft. Down to Earth: Homemade Soups in Handmade Vessels 2 is available for order online, at the Gallery Shop and WAG@The Forks, during this year’s CRAFTED event, and across the city.
A Big Thank You to Ayoko Design's Anthologie, who created this special issue for CRAFTED in support of Winnipeg Harvest and the Winnipeg Art Gallery. An Extra Special Thank You to Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director Yoko Chapman, CRAFTED 2019’s Chair, for your tireless dedication to this cookbook and CRAFTED.
Finally, thank you to all of the participating chefs and artists who donated their time and expertise in support of this amazing cause. Thank you for bringing this vision to life!
